My Objective and Approach My objective is to provide quality horseback riding and horsemanship instruction for beginner through intermediate riders, regardless of age or prior riding experience. I focus on safety, confidence building, and developing future horse owners. I'll help you learn the skills you need to enjoy your equine experience fully: · whether you are just starting out, or getting back into the saddle after some time away, it's never too early or too late. · if your ambition is to get into the show ring and strut your stuff! · or you just want to enjoy your horse more and feel comfortable and confident as you head out for the trails on a beautiful day. All novice riders are started out on a longe line until we both feel confident that you have a full command of the basics. For some this may be a handful of lessons, for others it may take a bit longer. We will go at your pace. I emphasize a solid, balanced seat and help you learn that the way you use your body affects your horse and ride, either positively or negatively. I present a team-based approach to developing a relationship with your horse to promote a strong bond. I'll help you overcome those fears or any bad habits that are nagging you. You will learn how to read your horse and make the necessary adjustments to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride. Most importantly, I will make sure that you have FUN and always leave with a SMILE!!! |

Amy Yachimski Owner/Trainer I am a licensed riding instructor recently relocated from Massachusetts, and am in my fifth year of teaching. I offer instruction in both Western and English Pleasure, as well as an introduction to fences, for beginner through intermediate riders. I especially enjoy working with children just starting their equine adventure, and adults that are either returning to the saddle after some time away or who have decided that they’ve put off their dreams for far too long. |
