Day Camps

School Vacation Riding Programs or Day Camps are offered throughout the year to coincide with many school holidays and vacation weeks. This is a great help to parents that might still have to work on these days, and provides kids a unique alternative to day care. Our camps are fun, safe, and provide a great way to learn about horses.

There will be hands-on learning about equine nutrition, stall care, grooming, tack-up and group riding lessons with emphasis on a solid, balanced seat. For those seeking more adventure, we will provide an introduction to fences, as well as trail riding and bareback riding. And there will be fun with some horsey crafts & games . Summer camps will include some time in the pool to cool things down. We'll always close out the day enjoying some delicious refreshments.

All activities are supervised by qualified riding instructors on experienced lesson horses. Participants will need:

· Helmet—we do have helmets available if you do not have one.

· Long pants

· Boots that cover the ankle and a half-inch heel

· Dress appropriate for the weather and bring a change of clothes for non-riding activities (if desired).

· Lunch and plenty of beverages on hot days.

· Swimsuit, towel and sunscreen.

Pricing varies depending on the camp being offered. A non-refundable deposit is required upon registration with the balance due on the first day of the camp session.
